A very nice Guesthouse in a really good location very close to the harbour and the beach. The owner who greeted us was friendly, helpful and the personal touches in the room we're a lovely surprise. We'd definitely return here as we couldn't fault it. Not many places I've been have a fridge in the room The owners are big on reducing their carbon footprint and on sustainability, for this I applaud them. Come here and stay when in Weymouth. You won't regret it.
We had a great stay at Bayliss Hall. The hotel itself is lovely. Very homely and full of character! We had a harbour view which was fantastic to look out to, day and night. The owners left some nice little extras which we enjoyed. You can also borrow a book to read which came in handy! They provide some environmentally friendly options for the guests which is great to see. Gregg and Glen were lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here, and will be coming back!
Just had a great weekend in Weymouth staying here. The view over the harbour from the room (number 8) was great. The location was ideal right next to the harbour with plenty of cafes and bars near by.
Giving a well-deserved five out of five star rating for Bayliss Hall Guesthouse, Weymouth. Highly recommend its rooms, efficiency, friendly service, facilities and location! Thanks to Gregg and Glen, who went above and beyond to help make our stay amazing. This guesthouse is immaculate and Room 6 is a lovely spacious room with ample storage space, en-suite, super comfy bed, a wonderful sea view from relaxing chairs, great selection of hot drinks provided and a small fridge to chill our refreshments. The location is excellent; situated by Weymouth beach and the harbour, near local landmarks, pubs, restaurants and shops. We will return - it was a wonderful experience as everything was perfect for us and we absolutely loved it! (Diane and Stewart Jeens)
Very relaxing enjoyable week. Lovely room best view ever over sea & beach. Large flat screen TV for when we opted to watch Euro footie in room rather than pub. Super comfortable bed. Few mins walk to beach or harbour. We received breakfast vouchers from our hosts Gregg & Glen & had very healthy & yummy breakfasts in EBike Cafe. We happened to be there for the Veterans weekend & Gregg & Glen kept us informed of the itinerary for this event. Thank you.
Superb location, right on the beach face (less then 30 second walk), very good communication via booking.com, we got there 3 hours early and allowed for us to have an early check in. Easy check in, even easier check out. Room were of a fairly good standard also. Had a few hiccups with breakfast, we swapped items out for something else or did a build your own type breakfast and a few items got messed up. Was good once arrived though and a good start to the day.
Highly recommend. Owners are very friendly. Freshly cooked breakfast was very tasty. Our room was nice and clean, nicely decorated. We had a view over the harbour which was stunning. B&B is located very close to the beach (about 2 minutes walk) and there is a big public car park (paid for) right next to the beach (about 3 minutes walk from the B&B).
The guest house was incredibly clean throughout and is in a perfect location for both the beach and the harbour. Our room had great views over the beach at Weymouth and the stunning coastline. The owners were very helpful and gave us some great advice on what to do in the local area. We also really enjoyed the breakfast at Quayside which is only a short walk from the guest house and offers a fantastic range of breakfast options.
